After being suspended for roughly 2/3 of the 2014 season and sitting out the entire 2015 season due to violating the NFL’s drug policy, Josh Gordon has reportedly met with commissioner Roger Goodell about his reinstatement.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com and NFL Network, the 25-year-old wide receiver can apply for reinstatement on August 1. Rapoport also reported that this meeting with Goodell is normal to the process of returning, however, it does not necessarily mean that the youngster will be officially eligible to return for the 2016 season.
