Cavaliers-Warriors Game 2

For LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, tonight is a game they must win. Losing would mean going down 2-0 in a series to a team that boasted the best regular season record of all time.  This is not something many teams could dig their way out of.  The only way possible, it seems, to beat Stephen Curry and his Golden State Warriors is for the Cavaliers to always be at the top of their game.  If they let up even in the slightest (like the Oklahoma City Thunder did when they were up 3-1 in the Western Conference Finals), the Warriors will capitalize.

While Cleveland still has the best player in the series, LeBron James, their supporting cast is a little shaky.  Games Cleveland wins are often dominated by James, with James putting up an average of 25 points, 7 assists and 7 rebounds, yet only 3 turnovers.  The fact that Golden Sate is arguably the best team ever, yet is not the unquestioned favorite to win the finals, speaks to James’s skill level and his ability to carry his team.

Golden State still looks unstoppable, rolling through Oklahoma City after going down 3 games to 1.  With talented shooting at every position in their small-ball offense, their fast break flashy offense will likely thrive in this series.

While Golden State’s firepower offense will probably be strong tonight, LeBron will not let his Cavaliers go down 2-0.

Finals Score: Cavaliers, 108, Warriors, 104
