Former New Orleans Pelicans guard Bryce Dejean-Jones has been fatally shot in his Dallas apartment.
The incident reportedly occurred at 3:20 AM on May 28th.
Also, Dejean-Jones was “in town to celebrate his daughter’s birthday and was involved in an argument with the child’s mother prior to the shooting.” [ESPN]
He had only played one season in his young NBA career before his death. His stats include an average of 5.6 points and 1.1 assists per game. He played 117 games in college at 3 different schools (USC, UNLV, and Iowa St) and averaged 10.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. He went undrafted in 2015.
