Current Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford has very recently been contacted by the Denver Broncos after hearing that Bradford is demanding to be traded away by the Eagles. No official contract talks have been made yet, but if Bradford does end up getting inked by the Broncos, that will 1. make their quarterback controversy VERY interesting, and 2. cause Denver’s salary cap to be THIS CLOSE to hitting rock bottom.
Bradford last season threw for 3,725 yards and only 19 touchdowns last season in Philly party due to minor injury, but if he gets signed by Denver then he should feel really comfortable with the Broncos’ talented receivers and rock-solid defense as he would join his former backup from last season, Mark Sanchez, for the starting job.
