Being down 2-0 in a playoff series isn’t the best situation for any team. Unfortunate, for the Trailblazers at least, that’s the situation they put themselves in. Coming into the playoffs, point guard Damian Lillard had been lighting up the league after being snubbed from the All Star game. Also, CJ McCollum was a clear front-runner for the Most Improved Player award, which he ended up winning.

Those two finally showed up tonight against the Clippers, with Lillard dropping 32 points and McCollum dropping 27. Also, Mason Plumlee was a huge factor, snagging an insane 21 rebounds with 9 assists. With another home game coming up, the Blazers can tie up the series going back to LA.
