The San Antonio Spurs (66-15) outlasted the Oklahoma City Thunder (55-26) in San Antonio in a likely Western Conference Semifinals matchup preview by a score of 102-98 in overtime. The win was the Spurs 40th at home on the season, pushing them to 40-1 and tying the all time home wins record with the 1985-1986 Boston Celtics. Their lone home loss came when they were 39-0 at home when they dropped 92-86 to the Golden State Warriors (72-9) Sunday night.

The Spurs will definitely be favorites to win this series if it happens in the Western Conference Semifinals, however, the Thunder proved that they can hang with the Spurs even in the AT&T Center. Even with star players Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant sitting out, the Spurs struggled to take the win at home against the Thunder. Centers Enes Kanter and Steven Adams as well as point guard Cameron Payne and shooting guard Dion Waiters led the Thunder with 17 points each, and Spurs small forward Kawhi Leonard led all scorers with 26 points. Point guard Tony Parker added 20 points for the Spurs.
