With the Indiana Pacers’ playoff hopes on the line, they desperately needed a win at home vs the Cleveland Cavaliers. Fortunately for Indy, LeBron James decided to rest this game and freshen up for the postseason.

Paul George and co. ended up taking full advantage of LeBron’s rest as they went 110% effort in an impressive 123-109 win.

Paul George led all players in scoring with 29 points, and got some impactful help from forward C.J. Miles who put up 21 points. Even though the Cavs lost, they were still able to earn 109 points despite the absence of LeBron. Kevin Love(23 pts) and Kyrie Irving(26 pts) certainly helped make it possible with how well they played.

The Cavaliers look like they have the 1st seed in the East locked up, but the Pacers still have work to do as their playoff hopes are still on the brink of not even happening. If Indy lost this game, I’m not even sure if they would still have a legit chance at making the postseason.
