Penguins Complete Comeback vs Senators, Continue Hot Streak

Can the Pittsburgh Penguins get any hotter than they are right now?! they have now won 14 of their last 15 games, and have scored 5 or more goals in 6 of their last 7 games. Come playoff time, this is a team that will be feared heavily by other contenders.

However, tonight’s win was not claimed so easily.

3 minutes into the second period, the senators led the Pens 3-0, and at that point it looked like one of those off nights for Pittsburgh. But that changed, thanks to Sidney Crosby and Carl Hagelin who each scored two goals apiece, and Pens’ rookie goaltender Matt Murray with his 27 total saves and not allowing any more goals for the rest of the game since the forth minute of the second period.

On Thursday, April 7, the Penguins will duel with the Washington Capitals, who have the best record in the NHL. Could we eventually see them meet in the playoffs? If so, then it’ll be a fight to the last game.
