Week 31 is upon us, and do we have some good match-ups this week! Southampton and Liverpool look take the sole possession of 7th place, Chelsea looks to converge from the bottom half of the table, and a relegation battle between Sunderland and Newcastle could push one team out of the RZ. However, none of these are my Match of the Week. Lets get into the prediction.

Match of the Week: Manchester City v Manchester United

ManU vs. ManCity

Prediction: Manchester City 2-0

Match Facts:

– Manchester City have gone 4-1-1 of the last six BPL meetings with Manchester United.
– City striker Sergio Aguero has scored 11 goals in his last eight BPL outings at the Etihad.
– Man U haven’t lost three consecutive league matches at Man City in over 60 years.

Its the Manchester Derby, so this is going to be a great game; no matter how the scoreline shows at the end. Manchester City rebounded from a 3 match skid beating dead last Aston Villa 4-0 on 3/5/16 and drawing with Norwich last Saturday. GK Joe Hart for MC has been on his A-Game recently after two clean sheets. I personally don’t think that Manchester United has the strike force to beat Hart, especially after losing midfielder Juan Mata after two yellows last match vs West Brom.

Also, Sergio Aguero will bring his best performance tomorrow. I think that he’s going to get a goal and an assist on a goal from Fernandinho. Though David De Gea has been ‘carrying the team on his back’, I’m calling a bad game by the defense of Man U, which translates to a poor performance by the Spanish keeper.

You can catch the game at 12PM EST/5PM GMT on NBC Sports on Sunday the 20th.
